Yes. (1) Press & hold Monitor while powering on, release after a beep—toggles to legacy band for instant pairing with older FPCN30A. (2) Use programming cable & software to write new frequencies onto older units, syncing all. Cable sold separately.

Can I set different channels for different teams and ensure private conversations?

Yes. Assign channels to different teams. For private talk, both radios must be on the same frequency and same privacy CODE. Different CODEs block others even on the same frequency. GROUP button calls everyone at once. Encryption adds extra security.

How do I manage charging and deployment for a large fleet of 20+ units?

Each 1500mAh battery lasts 12+ hours. The 6-way charger charges 6 radios/batterys at once—order extra stations for larger fleets. Removable batteries allow quick swaps between shifts, keeping your team powered for extended operations.

Does the GROUP button work with all radios, including other models?

GROUP all-call requires all units be FPCN30A/10A/20A/10A-PRO with all 20 channels set to identical 20 frequencies. Only then GROUP broadcasts instantly. For mixed fleets with other models, standard channel calling still works.
